What’s On


10am – Breaking of Bread Service
The Breaking of Bread is where Christians meet to remember the life and death of the Lord Jesus Christ by taking bread and wine. It is often called communion. At this service we worship the Lord Jesus through song, thanksgiving and the reading of God’s word.

11.10-11.30amRefreshments Served

11.30am-12.15pm – Family Service
We welcome everyone to a short service suitable for all members of the family. The truth of the bible is taught and the way of salvation explained. 1st Sunday of the month all are welcome to stay for a free lunch. We have a small Sunday school running at the same time for Primary school children, ran by a CRB checked member of the church.


10.00-12.00 – Coffee Morning

Everyone is invited to come and join us for a free tea or coffee and sweet treat! You will be given a warm welcome by the Christians who meet at Bethesda Gospel Hall. There is plenty of free literature that you are welcome to read or take home.


10:30am – Men’s Fellowship
Men from around the Tyneside area meet for a time of bible study or teaching each Wednesday morning. This friendly group would be happy for any local men to join them – they normally start with a cup of coffee!

6.00pm – Good News Club (Primary School Children)
A time for children to learn Bible stories and enjoy games, crafts, singing and quizzes with lots of prizes up for grabs! All children aged 5 and above are welcome. All the leaders involved are Disclosure checked. Parents are welcome to stay if they wish. (During Term Time)

7.30pm – Prayer and Bible Teaching
The truth of the Bible is taught and discussed, which is preceded or followed by a time of prayer.


10am-11.30am – Little Sunbeams – Parent, Baby and Toddler Group
Come and joins us in a safe, fun, friendly and relaxing environment. All parents/guardians, babies and toddlers are welcome. It is completely free and there is no pre-booking or long term commitment necessary. Just drop in and enjoy music, singing, crafts, colouring and plenty of play. All refreshments are completely free! (During Term Time)

The Christians involved are Disclosure checked, but we ask adults bringing children to be responsible for them at all times.


7.30-9.00pm – Solid Rock – Youth Club (Secondary school children)

A safe place for local teens to come and relax, hang out and play various games. We also have a small chat time and provide a snack towards the end before they leave. This event is only on once a fortnight during term time.
